Jarmas Leads Field at Philadelphia Big Five Classic

Greg Jarmas leads the 99-man field at the Philadelphia Big Five Classic with one round to play Sunday at the Philmont Country Club outside Philadelphia.

Jarmas started on the 10th hole and had a much stronger back nine than front nine. He had four bogeys and a birdie over his first eight holes, but over his last eight he countered that with three birdies and a bogey to finish at +1. Brad Kushner of Yale is his closest pursuer at +2.

Princeton stands in fifth place as a team in the field of 19 schools at +29. Sacred Heart and Yale are tied for the lead at +26, with Villanova at +27 and Connecticut at +28. Princeton leads five other Ivy schools in the field, including Columbia (+36), Brown (+36), Cornell (+38), Penn (+43) and Dartmouth (+44).

Princeton will tee off from the first hole beginning at 11:36 a.m. Sunday for the final round. The Tigers' results are below, and results for all teams are available via Golfstat here.
