Princeton's men will head to California and the Tiger women to Florida as the Princeton tennis teams embark on their spring trips.

The matches will be Princeton's last ones before the Ivy League season begins at the end of the month.

In their lone spring-trip match Tuesday at noon, the women will head south to face Miami, which is ranked No. 12 in the nation in the March 13 poll. The Tigers are No. 61 in the same ranking. Individually, senior Hilary Bartlett ranks No. 87 on the singles chart for Princeton, while the Hurricanes boast No. 20 Anna Bartenstein, No. 32 Gabriela Mejia and No. 99 Lina Lileikite. In doubles play, Princeton has No. 29 Bartlett and Lindsay Graff and No. 54 Katie Goepel and Rachel Saiontz. Miami claims Liat Zimmerman and Melissa Bolivar at No. 28 and Mejia and Lilekite at No. 74.

Princeton (6-7) and Miami (10-1), the alma mater of head coach Megan Bradley-Rose, have met eight times with the Hurricanes taking all eight. Seven of those came between 1980-87 with the only meeting since coming in 2007.

The Tiger men (7-7) will be in California for three matches, Tuesday at 3 p.m. ET at Cal Poly, Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET at Loyola Marymount and Saturday at 4 p.m. ET at UC Irvine. Cal Poly is 8-4 heading into its Monday match against Nebraska, while LMU is 6-5 heading into a Tuesday match against Dartmouth and UC Irvine is 2-13.

Princeton is 3-6 all-time against UC Irvine with the most recent meeting a Tiger sweep in 2009. The Tigers are 6-1 all-time against Loyola Marymount with the most recent meeting in 2008, and Princeton has never faced Cal Poly.

Cal Poly, at No. 53 in the March 13 poll, is the only ranked team among Princeton or this week's foes. The Mustangs also boast singles No. 25 Andre Dome. Fabian Matthews of UC Irvine is at No. 81, while Princeton's Matija Pecotic is No. 44. In doubles, Princeton's Matt Siow and Matt Spindler are No. 34.
