The two will advance to the U.S. Open National Playoffs in New Haven, Conn., August 16-19 for singles and August 21-24 for doubles, where they will play for bids in the U.S. Open.

Pecotic, who graduated from Princeton earlier this month, began play Saturday and won six straight matches over four days, taking all of them in straight sets and giving up more than three games in any set only once, winning the final over top-seeded Nikita Kryvonos 6-4, 6-2.

Graff, a rising junior, won five straight matches to claim the berth in New Haven, winning four of those in straight sets including a 6-2, 6-4 final win over 2012 Vanderbilt alumna Jacqueline Wu.

As a pair, Pecotic and Graff won four straight matches, all in straight sets. In the semifinals, Pecotic and Graff defeated Princeton tennis alumna Neha Uberoi '12 and former Princeton volunteer assistant coach Ilia Shatashvili 6-1, 6-1, and in the final, the Princeton pair beat Northwestern rising senior Veronica Corning and Penn rising senior Nikola Kocovic 7-6(7), 7-5.
