The Princeton women's tennis team will begin its dual-meet season Wednesday when it hosts Temple at 5 p.m. on the indoor courts in Jadwin Gymasium.

Princeton players participated in five fall events, highlighted by four flight titles at the USTA Invitational in New York and Amanda Muliawan's singles title at the USTA/ITA Regional tournament held at Army, gaining her a berth in the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships to close the fall.

A new ITA team ranking will be released on the day of the match, but Princeton is ranked No. 71 on the most recent list, released Jan. 22. Individually, Muliawan is at No. 52 in the nation on the singles chart and the team has three doubles pairs in the top 60, making Princeton one of only three schools, along with USC and UCLA, to have three ranked doubles pairs. Lindsay Graff is in two of those pairs, with Katherine Flanigan at No. 43 and Muliawan at No. 45, while Katie Goepel and Monica Chow are ranked 58th.

Temple will enter the match at 1-3 on the dual-meet season, having started two weekends ago with three matches hosted by Virginia Commonwealth and following it up most recently with a 6-1 loss to No. 46 Penn State.

Princeton leads the Owls 15-1 in the all-time series, with Temple's win coming in 1994. The teams have played annually since 2001, except for 2002 and 2011.

Following the Temple match, Princeton will head to Akron, Ohio for matches Saturday against Missouri and Sunday against host Akron.
