All seven members of the Princeton women's tennis team will head to the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York this weekend for three days of competition at the USTA Women's College Invitational.
The event, which attracts players from more than a dozen schools mostly in the Northeast, features nine singles flights and five doubles flights. For the main draws, Saturday will see two doubles and one singles match, with Sunday featuring two singles and one doubles match. Finals will be played Monday.
The draws were released late Friday night, and Princeton has the top seed in three of the first four bracket.s Lindsay Graff is the top seed in the "A" singles draw, Katherine Flanigan is tops in the "C" draw and Katie Goepel is so in the "D" draw. Amanda Muliawan will play in the "B" bracket, while Emily Hahn and Monica Chow will play in the "E" draw and Joan Cannon will play in the "F" draw.
In doubles, Graff and Muliawan are the No. 3 seed in the top draw, while Flanigan and Goepel will play in the second draw and Chow and Hahn will play in the third draw.

The event is Princeton's first after having last weekend off as a team while Katherine Flanigan and Lindsay Graff were competing in the ITA All-America event in Los Angeles. The whole of the team has competed in one event so far, the Missouri Aces for the Cure tournament two weekends ago. Princeton will have next weekend off as well before heading to the USTA/ITA Championships hosted by Army, beginning Oct. 19.
