Junior Tyler Foote didn't mind a chilly night or a little rain. In a nationally televised showdown at St. John's, Foote closed Princeton's 2014 season with a brilliant start; he scattered four hits over seven innings and picked up a victory in a 2-0 win at St. John's.

Foote cruised through most of his start, and he got a key double play ball in the seventh inning to help secure the win. With men on first and third with one out, he got Bret Dennis to hit a sharp grounder to third base, where freshman Zack Belski started a 5-4-3 inning-ending double play.

Chris Bodurian pitched 1.2 innings in relief, and senior Jonathan York closed the game and the season by getting a groundout to shortstop.

The Princeton offense did enough to make Foote's performance stand up for the win. Tyler Servais singled to centerfield in the fourth inning to score Paul Tupper for the game's first run, and senior Alec Keller earned a bases-loaded walk in the seventh inning to add an insurance run.

Both Belski and Servais had multi-hit games for the Tigers, who had 10 hits in the win.
