The Princeton baseball team split with Harvard Wednesday afternoon in a doubleheader made up after rains washed it away a few weekends back.

The split finished Princeton's crossover games and left the Tigers with a 5-3 record against the Rolfe Division. Unfortunately for the Tigers, they're in the Gehrig Division.

Princeton was swept a week ago at Columbia, leaving Princeton at 5-7 in the league. That record would leave Princeton a game out in the Rolfe Division, where no team is over .500.

In the Gehrig? Princeton is six games behind first place Penn, who is 11-1 in the league.

The Tigers will see the first-place team first hand this weekend, as Penn comes to Clarke Field for a pair of Ivy League doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday. First pitch is at noon both days.

Princeton is in fourth place in the Gehrig Division, one game back of third place Cornell, who is 6-6. In the other division, those records put you in first (Yale) and second (Dartmouth).

Penn has a two-game lead over Columbia, who is 9-3. Should Princeton lose one game against Penn this weekend, it would be mathematically eliminated from the division race.

Penn leads the Ivy League with a team .299 batting average in conference games, and the Quakers are second in the league in home runs with nine, one behind Princeton. The Quakers' team ERA in league games is 2.81, second in the league to Columbia.

Princeton's Alec Keller is second in the league in hitting at .447 in league games, and he is followed by Penn's Brandon Engelhardt, Ryan Mincher and Jeff McGarry, who are 3-4-5.
