Seven Tigers in two cities halfway across the country wrapped up their weekend of play Sunday.
Katherine Flanigan, Alanna Wolff, Emily Hahn and Dorothy Tang finished their play at the Mizzou Aces for the Cure event in Kansas City, Mo. Flanigan and Wolff and Hahn and Tang both won their final doubles matches over Nebraska pairs, while Wolff was also victorious in her last singles match against Karyn Guttormsen of Oklahoma State.
Hahn and Wolff were recognized as two of the top eight singles players at the event. Wolff won all three of her singles matches, while Flanigan was a tiebreak away from doing the same.
In Philadelphia, Sivan Krems, Joan Cannon and Caroline Joyce played their final matches at the Cissie Leary Invitational hosted by Penn. Krems bowed out of the "A" singles bracket in the semifinals while Joyce advanced to the final before dropping a three-set match to Maryland's Olga Bredikhina, 6-4, 2-6, 6-1. Krems and Penn State partner Katherine Whiteaway fell in the doubles semis against the ITA 29th-ranked Columbia pair of Bianca Sanon and Kanika Vaidya.
