Coming off its biggest win of the year, a 5-4 defeat of No. 3 Harvard, the top-ranked Princeton men's squash team will try to keep its perfect season alive against an upset-minded Penn Quakers team.
Princeton will host the 12th-ranked Penn Quakers Wednesday night at approximately 7:30 pm, though the time will depend on the conclusion of the 5 pm women's match between the top-ranked Princeton and fourth-ranked Penn women's teams. The match will be played in two shifts, with all five courts being streamed live on GoPrincetonTigers.TV.
Princeton is 6-0 on the season, 2-0 in Ivy play, and has earned two wins over top-five teams. Besides its 5-4 win over third-ranked Harvard on Jan. 13, Princeton defeated fifth-ranked Rochester 7-2 in December. As a team, the Tigers have won 13 straight matches dating back to last season, including the thrilling 5-4 comeback win over Trinity in the 2012 CSA national final.
Penn comes into the match with a 3-6 record, though it has lost four straight. Penn fell to second-ranked Trinity 9-0 last weekend.
