This Week for the Tigers: The Princeton baseball team heads to DeLand, Fla. for a four-game series at Stetson. The Tigers (0-4) will look to earn their first win of 2013 versus the Hatters (4-6).

Last Time Out: The Tigers' opened 2013 at Maryland with a four-game series. Despite improved offensive performances as the series progressed, Princeton was swept by the Terrapins.

On Deck: Princeton travels to Washington, D.C. for a three-game series at Georgetown from Mar. 15-17.

Scouting Stetson: Stetson (4-6) is coming off a 16-3 midweek win over Florida International.

Six Hatters are batting above .300, led by Patrick Mazeika who is 18-for-41 with a team-best .438 batting average.

Stetson has employed 14 different pitchers over its first 10 games. Josh Powers (0-1) has the team's top ERA at 2.33. Over a team-best 19.1 innings, he's tossed 16 strikeouts and given up five earned runs.

Rookie Debuts: Five Tiger freshmen made their debuts this past weekend at Maryland. Billy Arendt started all four games in the infield, Danny Hoy started a pair of games, and Chris Bodurian, Cameron Mingo and Luke Strieber each pitched relief innings.

Arendt and senior Johnny Mishu own the Tigers' top batting averages at .286.

zaKKKKK: Despite coming out with the loss, senior Zak Hermans threw a team-high five strikeouts in his season debut on Mar. 2 at Maryland. Over four innings he only gave up one run on two hits.

Road Warriors: Princeton will play its first 18 games on the road before its home opener versus Yale on Saturday, Mar. 30.

Keller Knocks First Homer: Alec Keller hit Princeton's first home run of 2013 versus Maryland in game one on Mar. 2.

2013 Outlook:
• Princeton boasts one of its deepest rosters in 2013 with 32 players.
• The Tigers return six field starters from a year ago, along with three starting pitchers.
• Including the three starting pitchers returning, the Tigers welcome back 11 hurlers.
• Princeton welcomes eight newcomers in 2013. The addition of three pitchers and five field players will look to bolster the lineup.
• The Tigers lost five letterwinners from a year ago, including a pair of starters in shortstop/RHP junior Matt Bowman and catcher/utility senior Sam Mulroy. The duo was both drafted last spring by the Mets and Angels, respectively.

2012 All-Ivy: Six Tigers earned All-Ivy League honors in 2012 wiht Ivy Pitcher of the Year Zak Hermans leading the way. Hermans, Sam Mulroy and Alec Keller were named to the first team, while Mike Ford was tabbed to the second team. Matt Bowman earned honorable mention accolades at both pitcher and shortstop, along with outfielder Steve Harrington.

Princeton returns four All-Ivy selections in 2013.
