PRINCETON, N.J. (9/26/12) - Princeton begins the Ivy League schedule hosting Dartmouth on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 5 p.m., on Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium.

Princeton has won its last three games including both last weekend at the Princeton Invitational by a combined 5-1 score. The Tigers are 4-3 overall with two of their three losses to top-15 ranked teams (St. John's and Georgetown). Princeton averages 12 shots per game and has put 45.2 percent of those shots on goal. Freshman Thomas Sanner sits atop the scoring column with two goals and four assists for eight points. Senior Matt Sanner and sophomore Julian Griggs have two goals apiece. Junior Dylan Bowman has one goal and sophomore Myles McGinley has two helpers. Three others have one point. Junior Seth MacMillan has started in goal in the last four games and has a 3-1 mark with two shutouts. He has allowed just two goals on 17 shots for a 0.50 goals against average and an .882 save percentage.

Princeton leads Dartmouth 37-20-7 in the all-time series that began in 1921. The teams have split the last two season, with Dartmouth taking a 4-1 game in Hanover last year after Princeton won 3-0 at home in 2010. The Big Green is 3-1-1 in the last five games but has had trouble in Jersey, as Princeton is 2-0-2 in the last four games played at Old Nassau.

Dartmouth is 3-4 on the season and coming off of a 2-1 loss to UMass from Saturday. Like the Tigers, the Big Green have played a tough schedule. The team has wins over Missouri State, Colgate and Holy Cross and loses to Connecticut (currently ranked No. 1), New Mexico (currently ranked No. 3) and SMU. Dartmouth averages 13.1 shots per game and have put 27.2 percent on target for nine goals. Sophomore Alex Adelabu dominates the offense with five goals and one assist for 11 points. Junior Andoni Georgiou and sophomore Colin Heffron both have four points, with Georgiou's all coming via goals and Heffron's by way of assists. Senior Brad Jacobson and sophomore Robin Alnas have a goal each. Junior Noah Cohen has started in goal in all but one game. He has made 19 saves on 29 shots for a 1.65 GAA and a .655 save percentage. Senior Sean Donovan played the Missouri State game but did not face a shot in the double overtime win.
