Senior Matt Sanner put the Tigers on the scoreboard early, scoring just 7:28 into the game, with his brother assisting. Thomas Sanner started the play by streaking down the right flank and sending a cross into the box to Matt Sanner who beat goalkeeper Michael Kuzan on the right side.

Myles McGinley nearly scored four minutes earlier when he launched a free kick after Konrad Piewa was given a yellow card just outside the 18-yard box. Kuzan made the save but couldn't on the Tigers' next chance.

Max Garcia knotted the game at 1-1 just before the close of the half in the 43rd minutes. Piewa led up the left side and dished off to Garcia who blasted a quick shot into the far corner past goalkeeper Max Gallin. Gallin had thwarted Garcia just one minute prior when he punched a free kick up over the cross bar and out of play.

The game winner came at 50th minute when Thomas Sanner once again sent a great ball into the box. This time it was Griggs that was there to one time it into the net.
