PRINCETON, N.J. (11/5/12) - The Princeton men's soccer team will play its final non-conference game of the season on Wednesday, Nov. 5 when it travels to Fairfield. Kick off is set for 2 p.m., an adjustment from the previous scheduled time because of impending weather.

The Tigers are 7-6-2 overall and coming off of a 3-0 win over Penn from last Saturday. Freshman Thomas Sanner leads all scorers with four goals and six assists for 14 points. Seniors Matt Sanner and Mark Linnville along with sophomore Cameron Porter all have eight points apiece. Sophomore Myles McGinley adds six points. Junior goalkeeper Seth MacMillan has a 5-3-2 record and has a 0.85 goals against average and a .775 save percentage.

Princeton and Fairfield have played three similar opponents, Brown, Columbia and Rider. Princeton is 1-0-2 against those teams with a win over Rider and ties to Brown and Columbia. Fairfield defeated Columbia and Rider and tied Brown as well.

Fairfield is 7-8-1 overall with its last game coming on Oct. 28, a win over Canisius. Home games scheduled for Nov. 2 and 4 were both cancelled. The Stags like to score late with 12 of their 17 goals coming in the second half. Reco McLaren and Jordan Ayris lead the team in scoring. The pair has combined for five of the Stags' seven game-winning goals. McLaren has 15 points off of seven goals and one assist. Ayris has four goals and two helpers for 10 points. George Newton adds four points, while Jon Clements and Daniel Shaw contribute three each. Michael O'Keeffe has been in goal for all but three minutes. He boats a 1.09 GAA and an .809 save percentage.
