TigerCast: James Perry, Jason Vigilante, Peter Farrell And Mark Linnville

Critical Ivy League weekends are coming up for football, cross country and men's soccer, and TigerCast talks about each with football offensive coordinator James Perry, cross country coaches Jason Vigilante and Peter Farrell, and All-Ivy soccer standout Mark Linnville.

Perry is the coordinator for a football offense that ran off 29 unanswered points last weekend to stun Harvard and take over control of first place in the Ivy League. Perry talks about the play of both his quarterbacks, as well as his deep corps of receivers, and looks ahead to the Cornell defense. He also shares thoughts on Cornell quarterback Jeff Mathews, who is making a charge at Perry's Ivy League career passing records.

Jason Vigilante is the new head coach of Princeton men's cross country, and he will be making his Ivy League Heptagonal debut this Saturday at West Windsor Field (see men's preview here). While he will be making his debut, women's head coach Peter Farrell is in his 35th season as head coach, and his teams have won five of the last six titles (see women's preview here). The Heptagonal Championships are considered one of the most exciting events hosted by the Ivy League each year, and while neither Princeton squad is the top-ranked Ivy school currently, the Tigers look forward to having the event on their home course.

Linnville is a senior back on a men's soccer team that will face nationally ranked Cornell this weekend. After assisting on the overtime game winner against Harvard last weekend, he leads a Princeton squad into Ithaca for a matchup of two teams with true aspirations for an Ivy League title. Only two points separate the top four teams in the league, and an outright win for Princeton Saturday would put it in terrific shape heading into the final two games.
