NEW HAVEN, Conn. (11/10/12) - Senior Matt Sanner scored in the 34th minute to give the Princeton men's soccer team a 1-0 win over Yale in the regular season finale on Saturday, Nov. 10.
Sanner scored on a header from sophomore Myles McGinley in what would be the game-winning goal.
Senior goalkeeper Max Gallin got the start in his final game as a Tiger. He did not have to make a save in the first half as Princeton outshot Yale 5-0. Junior Seth MacMillan replaced Gallin in goal for the second period and made two saves as Princeton took five shots to Yale's two.
Princeton ended the game with a 10-4 edge in shots.
Princeton concludes the 2012 season with an 8-6-2 overall record and a 4-1-2 Ivy League record.
