Women's Golf Closes Final Fall Tournament

The Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational came to a close for the Princeton women's golf team Wednesday afternoon as Kelly Shon led the Tigers by tying for 11th overall.

Shon fired a 77 after shooting 71 and 74 over the first two days at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, finishing at +6 and eight shots off the lead. Texas had the medalist and runner-up, with Nicole Vandermade charging to the lead with a third-round 69 to finish at -2 and overtake teammate Madison Pressel's 1-under finish.

Princeton finished 15th in a field in which 10 of the 15 teams were ranked in Golfweek's top 50 nationally.

Wonji Choi (+23), Joyce Kim (+24), Anna Jang (+33) and Tiffany Dong (+41) rounded out Princeton's five, while Mary Funk (+59) played as an individual.
