For the first time, the Princeton women's golf team will face Rutgers in a dual match this Friday at the Rutgers Golf Club in Piscataway, N.J.

The noon start will feature all seven Tigers in Princeton's first appearance in a Rutgers-hosted event since October 2000, the last of six Rutgers Invitationals in which Princeton competed.

Princeton has competed in two tournaments and one dual match so far on the spring season, finishing second in a 16-team field at the Low Country Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C., and fifth in a 14-team field at the UNC Wilmington Seahawk Classic in Wallace, N.C. last weekend. Junior Kelly Shon led Princeton in both tournaments.

In the dual match, Princeton defeated Penn 296-306 on Mar. 30. Anna Jang and Tiffany Dong led Princeton in that single-round event, each shooting a 72.

Following the Rutgers match, Princeton's next and final competition of the regular season is the Ivy League Championship, held this year April 26-28 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J.
