Courtesy: Princeton Athletic CommunicationsPRINCETON -- Sophomore Kelly Shon has earned an individual bid to the NCAA East Regional golf tournament for the second straight year.
Shon was one of six individuals selected along with 24 teams in the tournament to make up a field of 126 players on Penn State's Blue Course when the tournament is completed May 10-12.
In last year's NCAA East Regional in Daytona Beach, Fla., Shon tied for 52nd at +11. The top eight teams and two highest finishers not on one of those eight teams will advance to the NCAA Championship hosted by Vanderbilt on the last weekend of May.
Shon is one of five Tigers to contribute to Princeton's now eight individual appearances in the NCAA Regional tournament.
