 Five Princeton Field Hockey Facts

• Field hockey was one of the original women's varsity sports introduced at Princeton in the 1971-72 academic year.

• Princeton, which became the first Ivy League school to advance to the NCAA championship game in 1996, won the program and the league's first NCAA title in 2012. The Tigers have advanced to the NCAA Final Four three times (1996, 1997 and 2012).

• Five current and former Tigers are members of the U.S. Senior National Team.

• Princeton set single-season marks in wins (21) and assists (78) in 2012, and points (284) and goals (109) in 1996.

• Only three players have ever been four-time All-Ivy League First Team selections in conference history - all former Tigers.
