The Princeton men's squash team improved to 2-1 with a hard-fought 9-0 sweep of Drexel at the Kline & Specter Squash Center Tuesday night. The win will help send the Tigers into Saturday's showdown at No. 5 Rochester.

While the final team score was a decisive one, there were several tense individual matches throughout the evening. Sophomore Michael LeBlanc had the longest evening of all, but he held off Joseph Gingold 11-4 in the fifth game to take a 3-2 win at No. 7.

The All-America duo of Samuel Kang and Tyler Osborne both received a bit of a scare at the top two spots, but both pushed through to win in four games. Kang defeated Ibrahim Bakir 11-7 and 11-2 in the final two games, while Osborne topped Justin Singh 11-7 and 11-9.

"This was a very solid result against a good team," said first-year head coach Sean Wilkinson, a Drexel assistant last season. "We have a big challenge awaiting us this weekend, so it was good to earn a quality win tonight."

Freshman Manik Datta remained perfect at the No. 9 spot with a 3-1 win over Nathaniel Fry.

Princeton will take on Rochester Saturday at noon.
