Staying in Ivy title contention, the Princeton women's tennis team rallied against Harvard Saturday afternoon by winning three straight singles matches to take a 4-3 victory.

Princeton improves to 11-5 and 3-1 overall in the Ivy. Yale and Columbia, the only two Ivy-undefeated teams, will meet tomorrow in New Haven. A Columbia win would keep Princeton in control of its Ivy title chances, as the Tigers still have Columbia on the schedule but lost to Yale last weekend.

Princeton began the afternoon in Cambridge by winning the doubles point in another rally. Harvard won at third in the first doubles match to be decided, and Joan Cannon and Lindsay Graff evened it with a win at first followed by Katherine Flanigan and Emily Hahn winning at second to clinch the point.

Harvard went ahead 3-1 with singles wins at sixth, third and fourth, putting Princeton on the brink of defeat. But Graff kept Princeton alive with a straight-set win at first, followed by three-set wins for Flanigan and Hahn at second and fifth, respectively.

Princeton will continue the weekend trip at Dartmouth Sunday. The Big Green dropped their first two Ivy matches before facing Penn Saturday.
