The 12th-ranked Princeton women's water polo team (6-2) kicks off CWPA Southern Division play this weekend with Brown on Friday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m., before heading to the Villanova-hosted CWPA/MAAC Crossover from Feb. 23-24.

CWPA/MAAC Crossover Schedule:
Saturday, Feb. 23 vs. Siena at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, Feb. 23 vs. Iona at 1:30 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 24 vs. Wagner at 11:30 a.m.
Sunday, Feb. 24 at Villanova at 4 p.m.

Last Time Out: The Tigers went 3-1 at the Bucknell Invite from Feb. 16-17, defeating Wagner, 16-8, Marist, 13-6, and Hartwick, 7-6. Princeton struggled to find offensive firepower versus then-No. 12 Indiana, as the squad only connected twice on 24 attempts to fall 4-2 to the Hoosiers.

On Deck: Princeton remains on the road, traveling the Washington, D.C. to square off with conference foe George Washington on Friday, Mar. 8 at 7 p.m.

Johnson Tabbed Defensive Player of the Week: Freshman Ashleigh Johnson earned her second consecutive CWPA Defensive Player of the Week accolade following her 43-save, six-steal and 3-1 weekend at the Bucknell Invite. She tallied a weekend-high 16 saves versus then-No. 12 Indiana in Princeton's lone loss, 4-2, and limited all opponents to six goals or less.

Road Warriors: This weekend's CWPA/MAAC Crossover opens a 13-game road swing for the Tigers. Princeton will play in two tournaments in Southern California during that span.

Scouting Brown: Brown enters this weekend riding a four-game losing streak and is 2-6. The Bears are coming off losses to Marist, 6-5, Bucknell, 10-9, Hartwick, 18-7, and Wagner, 13-5. All teams the Tigers have defeated already.

Scouting Siena: Siena officially opens its 2013 campaign with the Tigers at the CWPA/MAAC Crossover. Last year the Saints went 9-21, 4-8 MAAC. Siena's top offensive returner Rebecca Robinson scored40 goals a year ago and goalie Madeline Hurley tallied 202 saves and an 11.52 goals against average.

Scouting Iona: The Gaels of Iona enter this weekend at 2-1. The squad has played seven games this year, but four were exhibitions contests. Iona's wins came over Villanova, 12-2, and St. Francis, 23-12, while its lone loss came at the hands of Harvard, 15-13.

Scouting Wagner: Princeton and Wagner will face each other for the second time in as many weeks. In the last meeting, the Tigers handed the Seahawks a 16-8 loss on Feb. 16 at the Bucknell Invite. Wagner enters this weekend at 5-3 and is coming off a 13-5 win over Brown.

Scouting Villanova: CWPA/MAAC Crossover host Villanova currently is riding a 10-game losing skid. The Tigers and Wildcats have faced already once this season, with Princeton topping Villanova 15-3 at the Princeton Invite on Feb. 9.
