At Princeton

2012: Southern Division Rookie of the Week once (Feb. 21) ... played in all 35 games, starting 33 ... had 23 goals, 37 assists, 26 steals, 21 ejections drawn and two blocks ... in collegiate debut started and scored a pair of goals, drew an ejection and won a sprint versus Harvard (Feb. 11) ... tallied three goals, an assist and a steal versus Gannon (Feb. 19) ... scored two goals, made three assists and tallied a pair of steals versus Siena (Feb. 19) ... made two goals, three steals, drew a pair of ejections and had an assist versus Wagner (Feb. 26) ... drew a pair of ejections and had a steal at San Diego State (Mar. 18) ... tallied five assists and three steals at Azusa Pacific (Mar. 20) ... made two goals, two assists and drew five ejections versus Hartwick (Apr. 6) ... had a pair of assists at NCAA Championships versus Loyola Marymount (May 13).

Before Princeton

Kelly Gross was a four-year varsity starter on the water polo team at Carondelet High School. Voted her team's Most Valuable Player in her junior and senior years, she led her team to CIF North Coast Section semifinal and quarterfinal appearances. As a captain her senior year, Gross was selected to the East Bay Athletic League First Team and the CIF North Coast Section First Team. She is a four-time all-league selection, an All-CIF player and a two-time recipient of the CIF Sportsmanship award. Gross also played for Diablo Water Polo Club from 2004-11. She is a two-time Junior Olympic All-America and two-time Junior Olympic Gold Medalist. She has been a member of the ODP Pacific Zone team since 2008 and has been selected to the Youth National and Junior National Training Teams.
