2011: Ward was the second-team All-Southern goalkeeper for the second straight season and earned her third All-Southern honors as a junior for the Tigers. Ward was 13-10 in goal and made 198 saves, recording a .574 save percentage, her highest in three seasons with the Tigers. Ward earned one Defensive Player of the Week Award and is a captain elect for the 2012 season. Ward made 10 or more saves in 11 games during the season and her season-high of 16 came in an overtime loss to Maryland at Easterns. Eight of those games occurred in the final 11 games of the season. That 16-save total is tied for the fourth-highest single-game total in program history. Ward also had two 13-save outings in a win over UC San Diego and a loss to San Jose State. Ward held GW and Brown to single goals in starts early in the season. Ward added eight assists and 15 steals from her position. She had two assists in a win over Sonoma State and made three steals in the Long Beach State loss.
2010: Ward earned second-team All-Southern honors in her sophomore campaign as she posted an 18-9 record in 27 starts in the Princeton goal. Ward was a three-time Southern Defensive Player of the Week winner and made 241 saves with a .553 save percentage. Ward made 10 or more saves on 13 occasions, including a season-high of 14 in a win over Iona during the ECAC Championship weekend. She also made 13 saves in a win over Harvard at the Elite Eight Invitational and a Southern win at George Washington. Ward stopped a combined 21 shots in two games to win her first weekly nod and a week later stopped 34 shots in three games at ECACs to claim her second weekly honor. Ward's third weekly award came as Princeton took three league contests and she combined for 23 saves in two of the games. Ward also added 16 assists and 25 steals from her position, notching five steals in a win over Brown and four in a loss to San Diego State.
2009: Ward was the first-team All-Southern goalkeeper following her freshman season at Princeton. Ward was 8-10 with a .559 save percentage in 22 appearances in the Tiger cage. Ward made 186 saves during the season. Her season high of 16 came in a win over Bucknell at Easterns. Ward made 10 or more saves in nine games. She made 14 saves in a win oveer Harvard, and 13 in a wins over Wagner and Bucknell.
Ward was a four-year varsity letterwinner at St. Francis where she
served as the starting goalie for a team that won its high school
section twice and was the runner-up last season. Ward served as a team
captain as a senior and holds her school’s record for career saves and
saves in a season.
