The Princeton men's squash team will look to finish its season on a high note this weekend when it travels to Boston for the 2014 CSA National Team Championships. The Tigers missed the 'A' flight by one spot, and will be the top seed in the Hoehn Cup Championships, which begin Friday morning against Bates College.

Princeton (5-7) suffered a series of near misses all season against teams that will make up the 'A' flight this weekend, including a 5-4 loss to third-ranked Yale two weeks ago. Princeton was still in the hunt entering its final shift of the regular season, but sixth-ranked Cornell swept the final three matches on Sunday to clinch a 6-3 victory on Senior Day.

“We’re disappointed to not be part of the top flight this week, but I have been very proud of the way the guys worked and competed over the last couple of weeks,” head coach Sean Wilkinson said. “The guys never gave up, regardless of the challenges that we faced this season. I expect our team to compete hard and with pride this weekend."

Princeton will open the competition Friday morning at 11:30 am against Bates College, and would face the winner of the Navy-Dartmouth match Saturday morning at 9 am. If Princeton advances to the final, it would play Sunday at 11:30, likely against either Western Ontario or Columbia.

Princeton has already earned 7-2 wins over both Dartmouth and Columbia this season.

Following the Hoehn Cup, Princeton will be off for two weeks before it heads to Philadelphia for the CSA individual championships.
