PHILADELPHIA (4/27/13) – The Princeton women’s 4x800 relay set an Ivy League and program record in the Championship of America relay in a fitting finish to the Penn Relays on Saturday, April 27.

Junior Kacie O’Neil led off with a 2:09.28 before senior Greta Feldman ran the fastest leg at 2:03.15. Sophomore Cecilia Barowski had a split of 2:07.55 while senior Alexis Mikaelian anchored with a 2:07.29.

The time of 8:27.26 is more than 10 seconds faster than the previous school record (8:38.05), and eight seconds faster than the previous Ivy record (8:35.70) set in 2005 by Cornell.

Feldman, Mikaelian and O’Neil were members of that former record set in 2012 along with junior Molly Higgins.
