Matija Pecotic's outstanding fall season just keeps on going.

Saturday at the Texas Fall Invitational, the Princeton senior defeated two more ITA-ranked opponents to improve to 11-1 on the season against ranked foes and reach the event's Sunday final. Pecotic will face 57th-ranked Dane Webb of Oklahoma in the 10:30 a.m. ET final.

For his own part, Pecotic was ranked No. 67 in the ITA preseason poll in September and will certainly get a big bump from his fall record when the next individual rankings come out in January.

Pecotic missed a chance at facing his third top-10 ITA-ranked foe when No. 6-ranked Costin Paval of Oklahoma when Paval, the tournament's No. 1 seed, pulled out with an injury early in his semifinal match against Webb.

Overall, Pecotic is 21-1 this fall, winning the top flight at the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center Men's College Invitational, made the semifinals at the ITA All-America as the first Princeton player to do so since 1982, and he won the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional singles title two weekends ago.
