TigerCast hits the water to open the final month of 2011. Water polo co-captain Jeff Cole talks about the NCAA Championships and his long road back to competition, while senior swimmers Travis McNamara and Aislinn Smalling talk about the early season and this weekend's Big Al Open.

Cole will be competing in his second NCAA Championship competition this weekend, though his path to Berkeley was far tougher than anybody imagined. A shoulder injury led to the removal of a rib and a long stint as a student-manager, but he worked his way back into the Princeton rotation in time for a dramatic semifinal rally over St. Francis and an Eastern championship win over Navy.

McNamara is a former Ivy League individual champion in the 500 free and is a part of a senior class that has won Ivy League titles in each of its first three seasons. He talks about what has made his class special, some similarities he sees in the current freshman class, and the importance of the Big Al Open to the program.

Snelson has been a key part of a senior class that has won back-to-back Ivy League titles for the women's swimming and diving program. She had three Top-10 finishes at last year's championship meet and will be looking for a strong finish to her career this season. With both H-Y-P and Ivies being held at Harvard, this weekend will be Princeton's only multi-day meet at DeNunzio Pool, and Snelson talks about the energy within DeNunzio's walls, as well as the early season success and the growth of Ivy League swimming over her four years.
