For the fourth consecutive season the Princeton men’s water polo team will play on ESPNU in a nationally televised broadcast. The defending CWPA Eastern Champions will host California on Friday, Sept. 7, a part of the squad's season-opening Princeton Invitational. The game currently is scheduled for 6 p.m. at DeNunzio Pool.
"We are excited about next year's schedule and the competition will be great. To be on national television is an honor for our players and program," said head coach Luis Nicolao.
Under Nicolao's tutelage, Princeton went 22-10, 6-2 Southern Division in 2011. The Tigers won the Eastern Championship for the fourth time in program history and earned a third place finish at the NCAA Championships.
