Peter Schulam played in 20 games as a senior and was given the team's Roche Award at season's end. Schulam also notched his fourth selection to he CWPA Scholar-Athlete Team. Schulam added an assist against Bucknell at ECACs and had a steal in a league win at George Washington. He also had an assist against GW at home and a steal in a win over Iona. Schulam drew an ejection against Bucknell in the third-place game at Easterns.
Schulam earned CWPA All-Academic Team honors as a junior. He appeared in 11 games for the Tigers and contributed a pair of goals and assists for the team. He scored and added an assist in a league win ober George Washington and scored his second goal in a loss at USC. Schulam added an assist in a loss to Stanford and had a field block in a win over Fordham.
Schulam appeared in eight games as a sophomore and scored two goals on eight shots. He also added an assist and a steal and was named to the CWPA All-Academic Team. Schulam scored in Princeton's wins over George Washington and Queens and also drew two ejections in the Queens win. His assist came in a win over Mercyhurst.
Schulam scored three goals and added two assists and 11 steals in 21 games as a freshman. He scored his first collegiate goal in a loss to Navy and added goals in a loss to Redlands and a Southern win over Salem. Schulam added assists in wins over Gannon and Iona and had two steals in the Salem win.
Schulam played four years of varsity water polo at Malibu High School. He was the team’s captain his senior year, when he was awarded the team’s Most Valuable Player award and earned first-team all-league honors. He also played with the Waves Water Polo Club and was a member of the 16-and-under team in 2005 that won the gold medal at the National Age Group Championships and the silver at the Junior Olympics.
