GREENSBORO, N.C. (5/25/13) - Two Princeton individuals and a relay qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on the final day of the NCAA East Regional, bringing the total to nine Tigers headed to Eugene, Ore.

In the final event of the night the men's 4x400 of senior Russell Dinkins, senior Austin Hollimon, junior Tom Hopkins and sophomore Daniel McCord finished third in heat 2 to qualifying for the Championships. The relay's time of 3:07.09 was eight best overall out of the 24 teams competing.

Dinkins and Hollimon won a national championship during the indoor season with the distance medley relay. Dinkins, Hollimon and Hopkins were also on the 4x400 that finished 12th nationally in 2011.

Senior Greta Feldman earned her second consecutive ticket to the NCAAs with a 4:16.99 in the quarterfinal round of the women's 1500. Feldman, who finished fifth in the nation in the event last year, was seventh in her heat and seventh overall.

Junior Imani Oliver qualified in the women's triple jump with a Princeton record of 12.79 (41-11.50). Her previous best was 12.74. Oliver jumped 12.04, 12.48, 12.71, 12.61 and 12.57 on her other five jumps to finish as the runner-up in her flight. Overall she finished eighth and advances to the NCAA Championship.

It was a tough pill to swallow in the men's triple jump as junior Damon McLean missed qualifying by just one place. McLean who finished eighth in the nation in the event last spring reached 15.25 (50-0.50) on his final two jumps. He reached 14.15, 15.10 and 15.02 on three other jumps to finish 13th overall. Sophomore Nana Owusu-Nyantekyi had the second-longest distance in his flight but finished 15th overall. He had a best of 15.11 (49-7) on his third attempt, while also reaching 14.07, 14.60 and 14.75.
