A Tiger quartet made an impressive showing at the recent 2012 U.S. Open Swimming Championships, held in Indianapolis, Ind. Four Princetonians, all of whom will compete during the 2012-13 season, posted impressive finishes, and three placed in their respective Top 16.

Three members of the four-time defending Ivy League champion men's team competed in Indianapolis, including rising junior Daniel Hasler. He placed 12^th overall with a lifetime best time of 4:24.61 (long course). It was his first long-course best time since an illness that cost him most of his freshman season.

Hasler also recorded a lifetime best in a 200 IM time trial (2:05.36). While it was only a time trial, it stood as the 16^th-fastest time at the meet.

Teammate Harrison Wagner, who earned All-America honors as a freshman in the 200 medley relay at the 2012 NCAA Championships, placed 16^th in the 50 free with a time of 23.25. He recorded a best time of 23.21 in the preliminaries.

Incoming freshman Bryan Sanborn also qualified for the meet and competed in three events. He had two Top-40 finishes; he took 37^th in the 100 breast and 40^th in the 200 IM. He also competed in the 200 breast.

The lone woman representing Princeton at the meet was rising junior Lisa Boyce, a three-time individual champ at the 2012 Ivy League Championship meet. The versatile sprinter competed in four events, including the 100 back, where she recorded a lifetime best of 1:02.85 and placed 16^th.

Boyce also had a lifetime best time of 1:02.87, and her time of 26.66 was good enough for 31^st in the 50 free. She also swam a 58.35 in the 100 free.
