Match notes: At No. 52, Cornell was the highest-ranked opponent Princeton defeated since winning at No. 51 Cornell a year ago ... Cornell is the 12th ITA-ranked opponent Princeton has faced this season ... Alex Day's and Zack McCourt's win at first doubles over Cornell's Quoc-Daniel Nguyen and Jason Luu was the first time in seven opportunities this season that a Tiger doubles team defeated an ITA-ranked opponent (Nguyen and Luu are ranked 49th); Princeton's last win over a ranked doubles team was in the 2013 season finale against Columbia by McCourt and Matija Pecotic '13 over No. 83 Ashok Narayana and Max Schnur ... the last time Princeton defeated a doubles opponent ranked as high as No. 49 was earlier in the 2013 season when the same Princeton and Columbia pairs met in an ECAC match and Narayana and Schnur were ranked No. 20.
Order of finish: Doubles: 3,1; Singles: 2,4,5,3,1

Coach Billy Pate on the match:
"It was very fitting we had a great effort from our seniors and Zack (McCourt) today. After last week's heartbreaking match where Zack was so close, it was great to see him get the clinching win. Augie's (Bloom) win, along with Dan's (Davies) inspired performance, really played a huge part in this win today. I'm proud for those two seniors to go out winners in their last match at Lenz. This was a nice result against a very solid Cornell squad. We'll have a good day of preparation tomorrow before heading into Columbia Sunday with some positive momentum."
