Columbia and Yale snuck past the Princeton women's golf team Sunday at the Seton Hall Pirate Invitational at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J after the Tigers held a slim lead going into today's final round.

Princeton entered Sunday's 18 holes with a two-shot lead over Columbia, and though the Tigers cut five shots off their Saturday total, Columbia cut 13 to finish four shots ahead of Princeton. Yale, which entered the day six shots back of the Tigers, had a 20-shot improvement to take second place, just one shot behind Columbia.

Individually, Princeton senior Kelly Shon had a one-shot lead entering the final round but was six shots better Saturday than Sunday and finished tied for fifth as one of three Tigers in the top 10 along with sophomore Alexandra Wong, who also tied for fifth, and freshman Hana Ku, who tied for ninth.

Anna Kim of St. John's and Michelle Piyapattra of Columbia finished atop the individual leaderboard at +4, five shots in front of two Yale players, Seo Hee Moon and Sandy Wongwaiwate, and six in front of the trio of players that included Shon and Wong. Piyapattra defeated Kim on the second playoff hole to win medalist honors.

Princeton will be away from competition before the Ivy League Championship on the last weekend of April.
