Peter Capkovic and the doubles team of George Carpeni and Alex Kruger-Wyman reached the final of their respective A flights during the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational, held on the Princeton campus this weekend. Carpeni and Krueger-Wyman won their flight.

In the A singles flight, 82nd-ranked Capkovic won three matches to advance to the championship where he faced 41st-ranked Raoul Schwark for Minnesota. Capkovic pushed Schwark, dropping the first set 5-7, winning the second 6-3, and dropping the third 6-4. Capkovic topped his Princeton teammate, Alex Vuckovic in the semifinals, and Columbia’s Justin Chow in his first match.
In the consolation final of the bracket, Ryan Kim faced Cornell Kyle Doppelt, and won the match on the tiebreaker point after the pair split the opening sets.
Carpeni and Krueger-Wyman took the A flight doubles championship by topping Columbia’s Jared Drucker andMagdi El Mihdawy 8-6. The Princeton team advanced to the championship match with a win over the fourth seeded team of Clemente and Borta from Columbia.
