Princeton closed its first tournament of the spring season Tuesday afternoon at the Golf Club at Briar's Creek outside Charleston, S.C.
The event was the first of three for Princeton leading up to the Ivy League Championship at the end of April.
Penn State's Christina Vosters won the tournament at -1 as the only player under par, two shots ahead of a trio of players. Vosters' effort paced the Nittany Lions to a second-place finish, four shots behind winner Texas Tech, in a field that had five top-50 teams among the 17 competing.
Princeton will play next at the Pirate Invitational hosted by Seton Hall at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., April 5-6.
