Box Score & Play-by-Play: Game 1 | Game 2

Both opponents jumped on the Tigers early and didn't let up in contributing to a doubleheader sweep. Cal scored in each of the first three innings and then cut short any opportunity Princeton would have had at a rally by pushing the game into run-rule territory with a six-run fifth inning for an 11-1 win. Grand Canyon put Princeton in a 5-0 hole after an inning and controlled things the rest of the way, pushing across an eighth run in the bottom of the seventh for the 8-0 win and a run-rule ending.

Maddie Cousens was 3 for 5 with an RBI over the doubleheader.

Against Cal, a walk and two singles helped the Golden Bears to a pair of first-inning runs, and that turned out to be all that Berkeley needed to pick up its 16th win of the season. Against GCU, two doubles, two singles, a walk and an error became five runs for the Antelopes, who never let Princeton back in the game.

• Cal now leads the all-time series with Princeton 5-0. The teams first met in 2004 and last met in 2012 before Saturday. They will meet again Sunday as Princeton closes the spring trip.

• Grand Canyon made it 2-0 against Princeton in the first-ever meetings between the schools in GCU's first season as a Division I program.

Princeton will close its spring trip with a second game against California Sunday at Santa Clara at 1 p.m. ET.
