Day One Complete for Men's Golf at NCAA Regional

After day one at the NCAA Regional in Pullman, Wash., the Princeton men's golf team stands in 13th place.

The Tigers were 4-over for the first round with a score of 292 in a very challenging field. California, the No. 1 team in the nation, leads the field at 23-under, just two shots in front of Bay Area rival Saint Mary's.

On the individual leaderboard, California's Sam Smith is on top at 10-under, one shot ahead of Mac McClung of Saint Mary's.

Among Tigers, Bernie D'Amato leads the contingent at 2-under, tied for 30th place. Princeton will begin teeing off for Friday's second round at 12:50 p.m. ET.
