SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Four of the six singles matches went all three sets Tuesday in California, but the Princeton men's tennis team came up shore 6-1 to Cal Poly.
Augie Bloom had Princeton's point, winning a tiebreak-format third set. Cal Poly swept the doubles point and took the first four singles matches to be decided to clinch the team victory.
Princeton has two more matches on its spring trip to California, Wednesday at Loyola Marymount and Saturday at UC Irvine.
