Men's Tennis to Host Stony Brook Friday
In the final match before the team heads to California for spring break, Princeton will host Stony Brook at 4 p.m. Friday in Jadwin Gym.
The Tigers are 9-2 all-time against the Seawolves, having faced them annually since 2001. Stony Brook won in 2009 and 2010 with Princeton winning every other year including last season's 6-1 victory in Jadwin Gym.
Princeton enters the match at 6-7, coming off a split weekend with a win over Temple and a loss at St. John's. Matija Pecotic is the 31st-ranked singles player in the country, while the doubles pair of Matt Siow and Matt Spindler is ranked 24th in the nation.
Stony Brook is 4-4, and the Princeton match will be the second of three in a row against Ivy League schools. The Seawolves lost 6-1 to Yale Sunday and will face Brown on March 17.
