Amanda Muliawan and Zack McCourt will lead their teams into a pair of dual matches this weekend.

The Princeton tennis teams will begin March with a weekend of competition as the start of the Ivy League season draws closer at the end of the month.

The men's team will be home Saturday against Buffalo and Sunday against UC Santa Barbara with both matches in Jadwin Gym starting at 11 a.m. The women will head to Colorado for matches Saturday against Colorado and Sunday against Denver, both beginning at noon ET.

The men (5-3) enter the weekend at No. 55 in the latest ITA ranking, with senior Matija Pecotic as the No. 6 singles player in the country and Pecotic and sophomore Zack McCourt as the No. 29 doubles team in the country. Neither Buffalo nor UC Santa Barbara are ranked on the team or individual lists. Buffalo enters the match at 5-3 on the season, while UCSB (2-3) will face Princeton on the back end of a two-match East Coast trip that will put the Gauchos at St. John's Saturday.

Princeton faced Buffalo for the first time last season, a 5-2 win in Jadwin Gym, and UCSB nine times since the series began in 1984, but not since 2006. The Tigers hold a 5-4 advantage, with this being the first time the Gauchos will come to Princeton.

The women's team (4-2) is No. 73 in the nation in the latest ITA ranking, with freshman Amanda Muliawan as the 112th-ranked singles player in the country. Colorado (5-3) will make the trip to Wyoming Thursday before hosting Princeton Saturday, while Denver (4-2), winner of three in a row, will host Wyoming Friday before welcoming the Tigers Sunday.

This will be the first trip to Colorado for the women's team, which had all its previous matches against the Colorado-based teams on either neutral courts or in Princeton. The Tigers faced Colorado once, a 7-1 loss in San Diego in 1993, and Denver four times. The first two, a 5-2 win in 2001 and a 7-0 loss in 2004, were in the San Diego area, and in 2010 the teams met at Northwestern in the ITA Season Kickoff for a 5-2 Princeton win. The teams also met last season in Jadwin Gym, a 6-1 Princeton win.
