ATHENS, Ga. -- Matija Pecotic fell 6-4, 6-4 to Florida's Nassim Slilam in the round of 64 at the NCAA singles championship in Georgia Wednesday.
The two-time Ivy League champion went perfect in the Ivy League for the second straight year and qualified for the bid as the Ivy's top ITA-ranked singles player. It was Pecotic's first NCAA individual bid.
Princeton's participation in the NCAA individual championships will continue Thursday when Hilary Bartlett and Lindsay Graff play in the women's doubles tournament.
