At Princeton — 2014: recorded 22 kills, nine blocks, six digs, three aces and two assists in 13 sets played as a freshman … had season-best 10 kills in victory over Barton … made first collegiate start against NYU and had nine kills and seven blocks.

At St. Louis University HS — earned 2013 all-state and academic all-state honors … led team to three state finals and one state championship … invited to the 2011 USAV High Performance Program … led team to a 32-4 record as a senior captain … lettered all four years with volleyball team … also played one year of basketball … National Merit Finalist.

Personal — born Sept. 9, 1994 … son of Brian and Katie Thiemann … father works in product development; mother is the director of institutional advancement at Cor Jesu Academy … has two older sisters, Elise and Erin, and a younger sister Nora … Erin played club volleyball at Marquette … enjoys creative writing … may study English or mathematics at Princeton.
