Kelly Gross was a four-year varsity starter on the water polo team at Carondelet High School. Voted her team's Most Valuable Player in her junior and senior years, she led her team to CIF North Coast Section semifinal and quarterfinal appearances. As a captain her senior year, Gross was selected to the East Bay Athletic League First Team and the CIF North Coast Section First Team. She is a four-time all-league selection, an All-CIF player and a two-time recipient of the CIF Sportsmanship award. Gross also played for Diablo Water Polo Club from 2004-11. She is a two-time Junior Olympic All-America and two-time Junior Olympic Gold Medalist. She has been a member of the ODP Pacific Zone team since 2008 and has been selected to the Youth National and Junior National Training Teams.
