The Princeton men's golf team will host the Princeton Invitational Saturday and Sunday at the team's home course, Springdale Golf Club.

Live scoring will be available via Golfstat.com and also here through VPar.com.

This year's is the 27th annual edition of Princeton's home tournament, which began in 1987. It has been played every year except 2003, when the scheduled event was rained out. Princeton has won three titles in its home invitational, including the first one in 1987 and again in 2000 and 2004.

Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Harvard, Navy, Penn, Princeton, Rider, Saint Joseph's, Seton Hall, Temple and Yale make up the 14-team field. Seven individual players, including two Princeton players, will also compete. The par-71 course measures 6,390 yards.

Yale has won the last three Princeton Invitational team titles, last year beating Georgetown by one shot. The individual title will have a different champion from a year ago, as Dartmouth's Peter Williamson won it as a senior by one shot over Yale's Jeff Hatten and Georgetown's Charlie vonArentschildt.
