PRINCETON, N.J. (12/8/12) - The Princeton men's hockey team had its homecoming spoiled by No. 13 Quinnipiac in a 3-0 game on Saturday, Dec. 8 at Hobey Baker Rink. This was the Tigers' first game back at Baker since Nov. 10.

Mike Dalhuisen scored twice and Clay Harvey had the game winner. Eric Hartzell made 18 saves in the shutout. It was the first time Princeton has been shutout this season.

The first period was scoreless, as teams played an even first period with Quinnipiac having a 12-10 edge in shots. The Bobcats dominated the second period in shots, 14-3 and picked up two goals.

Harvey broke the stalemate at 11:07. Jeremy Langlois won the draw, in his offensive end, back to Russell Goodman. Goodman fired on net and senior goaltender Mike Condon made the save but couldn't collect it as Harvey got to it first and put it into the back of the net.

Dalhuisen scored his first off a face off. Connor Jones won the draw on the left circle and Dalhuisen wristed a shot that into the cage at 16:44 as Quinnipiac took a 2-0 lead into the second intermission.

Dalhuisen added his second 4:08 into the third period when he intercepted a pass and skated in on a breakaway, beating junior Sean Bonar, who replaced Condon at the start of the third period.

Condon finished the game with 12 saves and two goals allowed, while Bonar made eight saves and allowed one. On the opposite end Hartzell stopped 18, as his Quinnipiac outshot Princeton 35-18.

Both teams were scoreless on the power-play, Princeton 0 for 4 and Quinnipiac 0 for 5.

Princeton falls to 3-6-3 overall and 2-3-3 in the ECAC. Quinnipiac remains unbeaten in the league at 8-0 and is 12-3-2 overall.
