Owen Third, Tigers Fifth, Two Rounds Into Princeton Invite

PRINCETON -- Rob Owen stands third after the first two rounds at the Princeton Invitational golf tournament Saturday at Springdale Golf Club while the Tigers are fifth as a team.

Owen turned in rounds of 70 and 71 Saturday, behind only Tony Grillo of Harvard (67-71) and Charlie von Arentschlidt of Georgetown (69-70). Grillo's 67 is the low round of the tournament so far, putting him at -4, one shot ahead of von Arentschlidt (-3) and Owen (-2).

Von Arentschlidt's team and two-time defending champion Yale are atop the leaderboard as the Hoyas were and Bulldogs were +7 after the first two rounds. Columbia is a shot behind at +8, while Harvard is at +9 and Princeton is at +10. Princeton's second five is 13th in the 14-team field.
