Princeton junior Greg Jarmas and freshman Quinn Prchal were named Division I PING All-Region this week in recognition of a season that returned the Tigers to the Ivy League Championship and the NCAA Regional for the first time since 2006.
The teams, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America, featured 155 players from six regions across the country. Jarmas and Prchal were among six Ivy Leaguers on the 25-man Northeast list.
Jarmas won the Ivy League individual title, making him the first Tiger to do so since Creighton Page '05 in 2005. Jarmas was a first-team All-Ivy Leaguer and was the team's high finisher at the NCAA Regional in Pullman, Wash.
Prchal was a first-team All-Ivy pick, finishing fourth at the Ivy Championship while playing in all nine events in his first campaign at Princeton, the only Tiger freshman to do so.
