Princeton has won 19 Ivy League titles since the league began its own tournament in 1975, more than twice as many titles as any other school in that time. The Tigers and Yale have had the most individual champions in that time, with 12 each.
In 2011-12, Princeton has finished ahead of every Ivy League team in at least one tournament, including finishing ahead of four Ivy teams at the Century Intercollegiate hosted by Yale last weekend.
Yale was dominant in last year's tournament, also at Galloway National, defeating Columbia by 20 shots, while current senior Peter Williamson of Dartmouth defeated then-senior Tom McCarthy of Yale by one shot to win his second title in three years. The Bulldogs return three of their five players from last year's tournament, while Princeton graduated just one of their five, top finisher (14th overall) Eric Salazar '11.
