Princeton senior Matija Pecotic won his 20th straight Ivy League singles match Sunday, helping the Tigers complete a 5-2 win over Dartmouth at the Lenz Tennis Center.

"It was a good bounce back for us today after the tough loss yesterday," Princeton head coach Billy Pate said, referring to the team's 5-2 loss to Harvard, the Ivy's last league-undefeated team. "Our guys did a great job once we were able to get through the doubles. Our job now is to have a good final weekend of preparation for Cornell away and Columbia at home to wrap up. These matches are crucial for us in terms of NCAA selections and of course the Ivy League race."

Pecotic, the two-time defending Ivy League Player of the Year, went undefeated each of the last two years in Ivy singles play after winning his final match as a freshman and is two wins away from going undefeated for a third straight season.

Pecotic was one of four Tigers to win a singles match Sunday, along with Matt Spindler, Dan Richardson and Jonathan Carcione, and he and Zack McCourt, along with Augie Bloom and Matt Siow, helped secure the doubles point.

Heading into Princeton's final weekend of regular-season play, the Tigers are one match behind Harvard, which won 4-3 at Penn Sunday. Princeton will close out its regular season at home againts Columbia next Sunday after playing at Cornell next Friday. Harvard will host Brown and travel to Yale next weekend before visiting Dartmouth on April 27.
